What is the difference between presswood pallets and wooden pallets?

Wooden pallets are assembled from sawn timber boards and nails. Presswood pallets are moulded as a single piece from wood chips or fibre bonded with resin under heat and pressure. Presswood pallets have no protruding nails, are dimensionally consistent, are naturally heat-treated during the press cycle (meeting ISPM 15 for export without separate fumigation), and let manufacturers use waste wood and offcuts instead of virgin sawn timber.

Do you provide installation and operator training?

Yes. We provide installation drawings, a commissioning checklist, and can send an engineer on-site for installation supervision and operator training, or support remote commissioning by video for smaller lines. Training covers safe operation, routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the mould, press and boiler.

For complete production lines, MOQ is one line, configured to your target output. For individual components such as moulds or spare parts, minimum quantities depend on the item; ask us for a specific quote.

What raw materials can be used in a presswood pallet line?

Accepted Answer

Our lines are engineered to run on waste wood, sawmill offcuts, pallet scrap, branches, bamboo residue and other plant fibre. Material is chipped or flaked, dried to the correct moisture content, then blended with resin, so feedstock does not need to be clean virgin lumber.

Standard machines are typically manufactured within 30–45 days of order confirmation. Complete custom-configured lines can take 45–90 days depending on scope. Sea freight transit and on-site installation add further time depending on destination and site readiness.

Yes. Because presswood pallets are formed under heat and pressure during moulding, the process itself provides the heat treatment required under ISPM 15 for international wood-packaging export, without a separate fumigation or kiln-drying step.
